Kololo Airstrip

Kololo Airstrip was constructed during 1936 at the instigation of Philip Euen Mitchell, Governor of Uganda 1935 – 1940. The airstrip now serves as the National Independence Grounds. It is located along Prince Charles Drive, Kampala.

The National Theatre

The Uganda National Cultural Centre whose official acronym is UNCC is popularly known as the National theatre. There’s a quality program of music, film, dance and drama performances in the theatre itself, but most travellers come here for the popular, free nightly outdoor events. It is located on Plot 2, 4 & 6 De-Winton Road.
